Alone is an artwork based on the ruggedly stunning west coast of Tasmania. I saw this image on the tv, on the show ‘Alone’ and it blew me away. I just had to paint it.
The stillness of the water perfectly reflecting the mountains, encouraging us to be still, to take a look at our own reflection, and contemplate life.
Being alone isn’t always a bad thing. We all need some alone time. It makes us realise what we truly want in life and who and what we truly miss. Reflecting on our own behaviours, listening to our thoughts and deciding whether we’re going to take action or continue on our current path.
