Description
There’s many things in this artwork that bring back memories of my childhood (I am a Gen Xer). Of course flower power, psychedelic patterns, peace signs and groovy colours are the 60/70s, but there’s some times of childhood mixed in.
Like the daisy chains we used to sit and make. The tracks I used to make in the dirt for my cars. Magic Ice drizzled on our icecream. Nan’s fan we would yell into for a robot voice. The psychedelic wallpaper my other nan had in her toilet. Growing up surrounded by plants both inside and at our plant nursery. Cassette tapes and those big nappy pins (I stuck my sister with one accidentally while changing her nappy). So much childhood in one artwork. The 80/90s were the best time to be alive.
